Form & Function Co. founder and Appalachian State University senior Gemma Cullen was recently recognized by ASID Carolinas with two distinguished honors: the Presidential Citation and the Media Award, presented at the organization’s Fall Conference.
The Presidential Citation, awarded by ASID Carolinas President Emily Conn, celebrates Gemma’s dedicated service as the Student Representative to the Board. In this role, she represented interior design students across North and South Carolina, fostering stronger connections between student chapters and the professional design community. Her leadership and advocacy helped amplify the voices of emerging designers and encouraged meaningful collaboration throughout the region.
Gemma also received the Media Award, honoring her innovative approach to visual storytelling and design communication through Form & Function Interior Design as well as ASID Carolina's social . Her ability to blend thoughtful design, branding, and narrative has set her apart as both a designer and creative communicator.
